You agree that any legal action or proceeding between the Company and you concerning any aspect of this agreement or the obligations hereunder shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Privacy Policy

Circle K Convenience Stores (HK)) Limited (Circle K) respects your privacy and strives to ensure that your personal information is kept confidential. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services we provide, including but not limited to our membership program OK Stamp It and the ShopEasy website, and explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information. We comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap 486 of the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the ""PDPO""). In adhering to these requirements, we ensure that our employees comply with the strictest security and confidentiality standards.

1. Collection of Personal Information

1. A.1 We value your privacy and have implemented measures to ensure that we do not collect more information from you than is necessary to provide our products and/or services and/or to allow you to participate in events we organize ("Promotional Activities").

2. A.2 When you use this website, we may require you to provide personal information. The personal information we may request includes, but is not limited to, your mobile phone number ("Personal Information").

3. A.3 Please note that you must provide certain categories of personal information (which will be specified at the time of collection). If you fail to provide any personal information marked as mandatory, we may not be able to provide our products and/or services to you or allow you to participate in our events.

2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

1. B.1 By providing any personal information to us, you authorize us to collect, retain, and use your personal information for the following purposes:

   1. a. Operating, processing, maintaining, and/or managing your account;

   2. b. Verifying your identity;

   3. c. Enabling your participation in our events and providing rewards or services under those events;

   4. d. Providing customer service and responding to your inquiries, comments, or requests;

   5. e. Announcing event results;

   6. f. Conducting research or statistical analysis to improve our products and services, for marketing and promotional purposes;

   7. g. Providing marketing information as outlined in clause B.4 below;and

   8. h. Making disclosures for any of the above purposes, as required by law, or in response to any comments or requests you make.

B.2 You also agree that we may disclose and transfer (whether in Hong Kong or overseas) your personal information within Circle K and companies within our corporate group or with our third party business partners (companies with which we provide programs, products or services) and service providers (companies operating on our behalf)for the following services:

   1. (a) Data entry services;

   2. (b) Customer database management services;

   3. (c) Event management;

   4. (d) Customer contact services (where service providers may contact you regarding promotions, product rewards, vouchers, reward redemption, and customer service); and

   5. (e) Secure data disposal services ("Third-Party Service Providers"). These Third-Party Service Providers are bound by confidentiality obligations to us and are only permitted to use your personal information for the purposes specified in clause B.1 above, and not for their own purposes (including direct marketing).

B.3 When necessary, we may also disclose and transfer (whether in Hong Kong or overseas) your personal information to our professional advisors, law enforcement agencies, insurance companies, government and regulatory authorities, and other organizations for the purposes specified in clause B.1 above.

4. B.4 We will only use your name and phone number to provide marketing information about products/services if we have your consent or no objection from you.

5. B.5 We may provide aggregated data to third parties for various purposes (including marketing and promotion) in a way that does not identify you, and we may use this data to better understand your needs and to improve and tailor our products and services.

6. B.6 For any of the purposes mentioned in clause B.1 above or related purposes, the personal information you provide will be retained by us and may be accessed by our employees, and the entities mentioned in clause B.2 and B.3 above.

7. B.7 We may allow Circle K employees ("Employees") to use your account, but such Employees must comply at all times with any applicable codes of conduct and/or other relevant regulations of ours and/or their related employer companies. Notwithstanding any other provisions in this Privacy Policy, if an Employee is found to have abused your account by taking advantage of their position (including but not limited to using confidential or similar insider information to gain unfair advantages from promotions or offers provided through your account), we may disclose or transfer the Employee’s personal information to their employer for investigation purposes and/or disciplinary action.

3. Confidentiality

1. C.1 Personal information we hold about visitors to this website will be treated as confidential in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. C.2 Except for personal information, any questions, comments, suggestions, or data sent or posted to this website by visitors will be deemed voluntarily provided on a non-confidential and non-proprietary basis. We reserve the right to freely use, reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, broadcast, and/or post such data elsewhere, including providing such data to any affiliated companies, for example, for the development, manufacturing, and promotion of products and services and to meet customer needs.
